Heavy snow fell across southern and eastern parts of the UK over night with more snow showers expected over the course of today 12th March 2013 and the coming days.
Jersey and Guernsey Airport has been worst affected so far with flights in and out of the airport suspended today. Airports elsewhere are currently running to their schedules however if you are due to travel today, this evening or in the next few days, it is advisable to check the status of your flight with your airline before you depart for the airport.
